I was born on the West Coast of Scotland in Greenock on the banks of the river Clyde and am still based there to this day.  I have been doing photography since the age of 13 and I got my first SLR when I was 15 years old - a Canon AV1 and have been with Canon ever since.  I have been semi professional and now professional for the last 12 years and a past President of the Greenock Camera Club

I have a passion for Scotland and the stunning beauty of her landscapes, that I try to captured and then reproduce in all her majesty, in the form of Professionally Produced High Quality Unmounted Prints and Handmade Mounted Wrapped Canvas Images.

My favourite time is Late Autumn and Winter  and this is when I tend to take most of my shots.

I now use purely Digital cameras,  having traded in my 35mm Canon’s & Medium format Mamyia for Canon Digital full frame sensor cameras  and lenses.
